HANDMADE SKIS FROM HOKKAIDO CEDAR TREES.
STRIVING TO BE JAPAN'S MOST ECO-FRIENDLY HIGH PERFORMANCE SKIS.

MORE THAN JUST SKIS,
TENKO ARE WORKS OF ART

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY

Using the most advanced steel supports from Germany and local wood, these sandwich core skis are the result of endless testing and refinement. The tails are stiffened to ensure performance in the toughest conditions and the lightweight cedar cores ensure flexibility when needed.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
BEHIND TENKO SKI CREATION

The sidecut and width of Tenko are what drives our design. One ski should be sufficient to handle all conditions, therefore our shapes ensure the optimal radius to perform on the runs as well as off piste. The low rise tip ensures that the ski doesn’t want to pull up out of the snow and keeps you in the powder for longer. This is supported by the stiff and robust flex.

A JAPANESE LEGEND, A NISEKO PIONEER

Komori san is the man behind the legendary Ogasaka brands in the heyday of Japanese ski manufacturing. Personally overseeing all aspects of production, his knowledge of how a ski should perform in variable conditions is unsurpassed.

THE TENKO PHILOSOPHY

A Tenko ski is for life. We ski with you, tune the ski for you and help you get the best out of it. When you purchase Tenko, you become a part of our community, our tribe. We believe in one ski, wide enough to ski in the powder, but not too wide to float on the powder. Tenko is not for everyone, it is a tool to engage in a way of skiing, a new school of thought about how to ski powder.
